Hi

Hey, this year will be my first time participating in this, and i had a few questions. i have been developing my fantasy world since highschool and didn't want to start writing it here unless i knew whether the site is secure or not, and what happens at the end of the process. what's the best thing about this site? have any of you published a work stemming from the competition? anyways the my story contains mostly fantasy with some scifi elements, and is going to be allegorical, discussing the differences between knowing and believing in the trappings that remind me of some of my favorite authors, listed in my bio. my book idea is listed under 2012, since this year wasn't optional.
